At Alban Digital we’re looking for experienced freelance writers and editors to work on our clients’ website and marketing campaigns. Ideally you will have a proven track record of writing content in the tech and web hosting sector. Work will involve writing, editing and updating website materials including blog posts and landing pages.

Skills and Experience Required:

• 3 years or more experience as a writer or editor creating content for digital publications
• Experienced in writing on subjects related to web development, email and hosting
• Snappy copywriting skills. We’d like a confident writer who can deliver compelling, effective and beautifully written work
• The ability to communicate complex technical information in a clear and concise way is essential
• Excellent English writing and comprehension skills with a strong eye for detail
• Proficient in Google docs
• Have a conscientious and diligent approach
• Good organisational skills, including the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
• SEO optimisation
• Degree preferred but not essential

Duties:

• Translate technical information into user-focused plain English
• Ensure content is properly researched
• Maintain originality in your work at all times
• Proofread assignments to detect and correct errors
